Meet John

John Casey has been nominated for Monthly Service Award for June 2022. John has been an outstanding employee making it hard to believe he has only been with us for six months. He comes in every day with an upbeat, positive can-do attitude. John has the respect of all coworkers, clients, parents, providers and supervisors alike.
John is a natural and one of those employees who catches on quickly, he’s very easy to train, he listens and takes it all in asking questions as needed. John is always willing to do what is asked of him, is always very flexible usually going above and beyond the call of duty. John gets his paperwork in on time and does a great job filling out the content.
John has trained with almost all clients in both LIFEOP and Day Services, welcoming any new challenges presented to him. John does not hesitate to jump in whenever anything is needed to ensure all clients needs are met. John, after recently being van trained, worked with Aaron bringing him to a skate park where he could watch, enjoy and talk about one of his passions, skateboarding. John takes Richie to the gym weekly, for haircuts and fishing or any other activity he would like always offering encouragement. John has a great bond with Todd as well, allowing him to take him by the arm to wherever he wants him to be or seek him out to tell him what he needs.
Several of John’s coworkers have commented about how wonderful and natural he is with all he encounters. He makes sure to greet everyone with a friendly “hi, how’s it going”, “do you need anything”, “how was your weekend”, “what are you doing today”, “do you want to watch Dukes of Hazard Todd, let’s go put it on”! He is never overwhelmed with anything thrown his way. We need more people like John in this world.
For all these reasons and more John Casey has been chosen for the Monthly Service Award for June 2022.
