  • Can I designate my donation for a certain program?

    We appreciate your interest in supporting our programs. While it is possible to have your gift directed toward a specific program, we ask that you contribute unrestricted funding. By not restricting your contribution for a specific program or project, you will enable us to allocate our resources more efficiently and where the needs are greatest.

  • Can I limit the amount of mail I receive?

    Nashua Center’s communication includes up to 4 quarterly newsletters, Save the Dates and invitations to annual events. Any additional updates will be posted to our website, facebook page and/ or other social/ local news media. Our constituents are always in control of the amount of mailings they prefer to receive.  You can specify these preferences via phone call, contact our Main Office or by “opting in."

  • Can I make my donation as a tribute in honor or memory of someone?

    It is possible to make a donation in memory of someone or to commemorate a holiday, birthday, wedding or other special occasion. At your request, a letter can be mailed to the gift recipient as notification of your contribution to Nashua Center.


    Please note that it can take a couple weeks for a tribute notification letter to reach the recipient.

  • Does Nashua Center offer planned giving?

    Nashua Center can accept Planned Gifts in many ways, included but not limited to:

    • Naming Nashua Center in your will or revocable trust
    • Gifting a life insurance policy
    • Making a gift from your IRA or other retirement plan
    • Creating a Charitable Remainder Trust
    • Establishing a Charitable Gift Annuity
    • Gifting an asset that has a high capital gain
    • Stock

  • How do I update my financial information to continue my monthly recurring donation to Nashua Center’s “Pledge Team”?

    If your credit card expires, is lost or stolen, or you’d like to change the method of payment, you can simply contact ua uaing the form below, call our Main Office (603) 883-6163, or send a letter notifying us of the change.


    If you’d like to cancel your pledge at anytime, please contact Nashua Center’s Main Office at (603) 883-6163. 

    A 30-day notice is required. 

  • Is Nashua Center an established 501c3 organization? Is my donation tax deductible?

    Nashua Center is recognized as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Your gift to Nashua Center is a tax-deductible donation to the full extent provided by law; please consult a tax professional to determine your particular tax benefits.

  • What is Nashua Center’s “Circle of Impact” and how can I join?

    Nashua Center understands by spreading payments out over the year into smaller monthly payments, many people are able to donate more than if they were to write a single check at the end of the year.


    As a member of Nashua Center’s Circle of Impact, you provide ongoing support to our mission with a recurring monthly gift. It's simple. Each month, your contribution is automatically transferred from your credit/debit card or bank account to Nashua Center and you will receive a same-day email confirmation of the payment.

  • What percentage of my donation goes to program activities?

    Nashua Center strives to operate efficiently and to minimize fundraising and administrative costs. Nashua Center allocates 90% of its expenditures to its program activities. Maintaining this standard is a high priority.

  • Will Nashua Center accept a matching gift from my company?

    If you or one of your family members works for an organization with a matching gift program, you can double or even triple your gift. Because each company has a different set of instructions for matching an employee gift, please see your company's Human Resources Department for details. Nashua Center is happy to confirm your gift or to satisfy any other requirements your company may have.

  • Will Nashua Center send me a receipt for my donation?

    You will receive an official printed acknowledgement/tax receipt for your donation approximately 2-3 weeks from the date of your gift. In addition, at the end of each calendar year, Nashua Center will mail you a summary of gifts for the year which you may bring to your tax professional for deductions.
